Was that a case of Pip speaking a "normal" language or merely one of Mab understanding Pip's regular one? This is kinda non-trivial because Pip has good knowledge of the "normal" language (example: his edits to Wildy's novel) and because it has been shown that Mab understands Pip's regular sounds (example: When he tried to alert the others that Fa'Lina had kidnapped Dan). His cast page says that Drakes speak three languages, two of which only they know. So unless Mab's knowledge is an exception (which would be possible since pretty much anything goes with the Fae), I'd say that his regular sounds are that one language others know, too. So maybe the discussion between Pip and Mab was a case of transparent translation for the reader? I dunno, can someone dig through the strip's forum thread to see if this had been brought up? --Sid 14:36, 29 March 2009 (UTC)
