All 'Cubi belong to a Clan, whether they know it or not. The clan they belong to will influence which emotions they can readily absorb, and has a symbol associated with it which will appear somewhere upon their body as their magical proficiency increases.
Jin Clan
Currently, very little is known about this particular clan, except that it was entangled in rather delicate negotiations with the rulers of Zinvth in hopes of opening a children's hospital. According to Fa'Lina in Abel's Story, due to the ramifications of Aniz's actions, Jin Clan's efforts at establishing the hospital have been compromised, thus tarnishing centuries of politics. What this will entail in Aniz's future is unknown, but presumably he has inadvertently made enemies with Jin Clan.
