The basement rats live with Dan in the basement of Lost Lake. Not much is known about them, other than the female rat is named Photophie and she is related to the other pale grey rat.

The rats and the other characters of DMFA seem to get along fine. It is unkown if they will ever become bigger characters in the storyline.
